I recently did a redesign of the homepage of The Charlsen and Sangvig Partnership . Their new logo looks like this.
They wanted a design which resembled their new logo. My task was to build it. It is completely handwritten because I find it gratifying to build webpages bottom up. Then I'm in full control of everything, for good AND bad. The css files and the number of rules just increases because I don't want to delete stuff I think looks good. Unfortunately I used most of the css and design elements from my own page, but the content of C&S is quite different so I ended up with spaghetti code. Also I needed to include way too much javascript to solve edge cases most probably having some sort of css magic solution ^_^
All in all I am pleased with the result!
